Virginia’s bench poured in 27 points while SU’s only bench player to get in the game, freshman forward Matthew Moyer, didn’t even have a shot attempt. To go with three double-digit scorers, UVA’s pack-line defense limited SU to 33.3 percent shooting from the floor.
